1 large jug or water infusing pitcher

Ingredients

1 litre filtered water
Ice cubes

Method

  1. Place the combination of fruit and herbs of your choice in a large jug.
  2. Add the ice and fill the container with water. Add additional fruit and herbs to garnish if desired.
  3. Infuse for a few hours or overnight (in the fridge) before serving.
  4. The infused water will keep refrigerated for up to 3 days but discard the fruit and herbs after about 12 hours or as soon as they start looking discoloured.

5-6 large strawberries, stemmed and sliced

5 large basil leaves, torn

1 lemon, thinly sliced

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 pieces (~ 2 inches) of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

A cup coconut chunks

1 limes, sliced
