Hi, I'm Gaby
I am a nutritional therapy practitioner registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine and the Complementary and Natural Health Council. My primary focus is on using evidence-based nutritional strategies to help you improve your health and achieve your body and wellbeing goals sustainably. I specialise in the recovery of eating disorders and weight management, utilising my extensive knowledge in nutrition to guide you towards a healthier lifestyle. My unique approach ensures that you can improve your diet without jeopardising your relationship with food, maintaining or developing a healthy and balanced connection with what you eat.
My approach is holistic, integrating cognitive, emotional, and behavioural therapy along with positive psychology. This comprehensive method allows me to support you not just with your nutritional needs, but also with the mental and emotional aspects of your journey. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where you feel safe to explore and make lasting changes.
Cooking and the rituals involving food have always fascinated me. While I too encountered some difficulties with an eating disorder during my teenage years, these challenges helped me develop a profound understanding of health and nutrition. This newfound knowledge ignited a passion for health and fitness, leading me to explore the fields of nutrition and the psychology of eating.

With a Masters in Economics, I worked as an economist in UK civil service for over ten years. Although I was successful in this role, I realised that my true passions lay elsewhere. This realisation inspired me to pursue a healthier and more fulfilling path for myself and my family. I immersed myself in nutrition, graduating with Distinction in nutritional therapy and becoming a certified master practitioner for the recovery of eating disorders and obesity. I am now completing an MSc in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Aberdeen.
Raising my two teenage children has been the best part of my life. Through this experience, I discovered that offering knowledge, guidance, and accountability are just the beginning of what it takes to help someone do what is best for them. Creating a supportive environment where they feel safe to fail and learn, and giving them the autonomy to discover what is best for them, is crucial.
My expertise in developing lasting, enjoyable, and healthy habits is informed by my own journey, and I want to pass this on. If we work together, I will use my knowledge and love of all things nutrition to help you make the changes you need to become empowered, confident, and healthy, and live your best life. My economics background enhances my focus on sustainability and fairness in the food industry, and I can guide my clients towards ethical and environmentally responsible choices that also promote their health.
